Coaching training comes in all sorts of shapes and forms. Passionate to develop and hone my coaching skills, following a PG Cert. in Coaching and Mentoring in 2008-9, I pursued training with the Coaches Training Institute. First I took their core curriculum and then the certification process, each a 6 month process that combined involve 196 hours of training hours. That’s in addition to the minimum 120 hours of coaching experienced required by the International Coaching Federation as part of the process.
